One of the better hitters in the American League during the 1920's that gets no love was William Lamar. He started his career with the Yankees and then headed over to the Athletics where he helped build the team that would eventually win two consecutive World Series in 1929-30. He had a career .310 average and hit as high as .356 in 1925! A fantastic image from superstar photographer Charles Conlon and stamped on the back, this is in great shape with a few hard to see pinholes being the only flaws!
