Original 1916 portrait style photograph of young Boston Braves shortstop Rabbit Maranville at the ballpark. Taken by photographer George Grantham Bain and stamped on the back with the date, this is one of his earliest and best photographs we have handled. The image is creased and has editorial paint from publication but it is all there and displays like a unique work of photo-art.
