Original late 1910's action photo of star pitcher Wilbur Cooper from the Pittsburgh Pirates in full uniform at the ballpark. He was a fine pitcher for years and this is one of his better images we have seen. Taken by Charles Conlon and the reverse carries his handwritten notes and signature. A great image with perfect clarity and contrast from a master photographer and with the editorial painting adding a nice touch to the history of the piece!
