Lot Description  

1947 Photograph of the young head coach of the University of Kentucky Paul "Bear" Bryant as he starts his career as the head man in the game he loved after WWII. Pictured here with fellow Kentucky legend, Happy Chandler (baseball Hall of Famer) and Bernie Shively (basketball legend) making this a cool piece of history. This is the earliest image of Bryant as a coach we have seen and it is a UNIQUE new discovery from a local Cleveland photographer.
