In 1967 Joe Paterno was entering his second season as Penn State Coach. Having gone 5-5 in his first year, 1967 would be the turning point for the Nittany Lions as they would post their first of many fine seasons under Paterno. They would go 8-2-1 including a win over #3 NC State! The offered image shows a young Paterno from the 1967 season and stamped as he entered the next year (1968). Condition is outstanding and this is one of the earliest images of Paterno you will ever find.
