1922 Horizontal game action photograph of Hall of Famer Dave Bancroft as he slides into third base during the World Series. The third baseman for the Yankees was probably Joe Dugan but Home Run Baker did play in this game as a pinch hitter. Taken during game number three of the Series, the image is pretty clear and Bancroft is easily recognizable. A fine image from the Yankees taken during their second ever trip to the Fall Classic and with the bombers on the verge of greatness!
