1925 Portrait photograph of one of the best young sluggers in baseball and a man who appeared to have another ten solid years ahead of him. In reality, he would be gone in two years and remain today along with Addie Joss as one of the biggest tragedies in the history of the game as a superstar was cut down in the height of his career. While the image quality is off the charts, easily among his greatest ever offered, the photo has some white marks of paper loss from editorial usage that can be restored relatively inexpensively. A worthy candidate for restoration, this is one of his greatest images ever taken!
