Extremely rare early photograph of young slugger from the St. Paul American Association club Mark Koenig as it was announced that he had been sold to the New York Yankees of the major leagues. He would become an integral part of the Yankees dynasty and a member of their murderers row 1927 team with this being the only image of Koenig from before his debut we have ever seen offered to the public.
