Beautiful 1925 photograph from the World Series which is special for three reasons. The image offers a rare look at the ballpark, an even rarer look at early sports photographers demonstrating their craft, and the frenzy involving the World Series. The two men on the ground are Al Schacht and Nick Altrock, the "Clown Princes" of Baseball. Photo is in nice shape with a corner chip on the lower left being the only flaw. Issued by NEA and dated during the series. This image sold for over $450 in our November 2014 auction.
