1922 Portrait style photograph of young ace of the Chicago White Sox Urban "Red" Faber. Despite losing most of his talent to the 1919 Black Sox scandal, Faber won 21 games for a pretty bad White Sox team and the admiration of all those around him as the top pitcher in the league. A nice image from the International News, this displays well and has a detailed paper caption as well (loose but present).
