Armando Marsans in one of the forgotten pioneers of Major League baseball. One of the first Latin American players to come to the United States, he was a superstar in his native country but unlike the others that came over at the same time, he succeeded! The offered image is from Marsans' 1916 season with the St. Louis Browns and is one of the few in a major league uniform. Silver gelatin image is in great condition with tremendous clarity making it a 10/10! Possibly his finest image out there.
