Large 1927 photograph of the great Babe Ruth as he sizes up his opponents for the upcoming World Series. A unique new discovery that is being offered here for the first time ever from NEA and stamped on the back, Ruth is shown checking his swing and holding it to show the umpire that he had not gone around. A fantastic image in pretty nice shape (with one small rip on the far right side) this was reversed for engraving which is also quite rare for the era. A rare image of Ruth from his iconic 1927 season!
