In early 1942 just a month after Pearl Harbor, Moe Berg (Baseball's Famous Spy) was called into action for Uncle Sam. He retired from Baseball to help with the War-Effort in part to review films of Japan and later he was instrumental in the efforts surrounding the Atomic Bomb. The image in this photo shows Berg with the Boston Red Sox the previous Season (1941). Photo is in near perfect condition with paper tag on back as well as news service stamp. Absolutely Beautiful example and a must have photo for any collection!
