Large and detailed 1910 portrait photograph of Charles "Babe" Adams in full uniform with the Pittsburgh Pirates. The image is a silver gelatin masterpiece from photographer Paul Thompson, this is a clear and precise original in nice shape with some editorial painting of the background for publication. The reverse was mounted for publication but enough of the paper on the back has been removed to clearly see the Thompson stamp and most of his detailed handwritten notes. A fantastic piece of early baseball photography.
