Incredible 1947 photograph of Newark Eagles Negro League legends Monte Irvin and Larry Doby in uniform. It was announced that Doby had just signed with the Indians and Irvin was rumored to be on the way! One of the only images of either in uniform with Newark we have ever seen and the condition and quality are outstanding! Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption on the back as well.
