Important 1946 real photo postcard of one of the few rival major leagues in the history of the game, this one being the first in Latin America! After the 1945 season two wealthy brothers decided to start a new baseball league and used their money and political influence to start raiding major league rosters. Here are the Puebla Angeles in uniform including a bevy of former and future major leaguers. Highlighted by a very young Bobby Avila and Sal Maglie, the roster includes manager Adolfo Luque and others like Pedro Pages, Sandy Consuegra and others. This is the only true baseball card of this team we have ever seen and it presents beautiful with note to handwritten ink identifications in the hand of whoever the player third from the left on the front row is. An important baseball card offered here for the first time ever!
