1929 Unique photograph of baseball Hall of Famer Andy Cooper. A rare Negro Leaguer, there are only a handful of photographs known of Cooper in any form with this being a snapshot of the player lounging on the streets in his downtime and flirting with a pretty young lady (whose scrapbook this photo comes from), but dating from 1929 when he was still a dominant player! Condition is pretty nice and it has the name of Cooper, the date (May 15, 1929) and some other notes in her hand! The reverse also has another image of a Negro League star (Frank Duncan) from the same day and identifying him as the Monarchs catcher! This is the ONLY image of Cooper we have ever seen offered for sale and it is an important piece of baseball history!
