Incredible 1908 silver gelatin original photograph of the capacity crowd at Bennett Park before the start of the World Series against the Cubs. This was the last World Series the Cubs won before 2016 making it an important piece of baseball history with crystal clarity. Despite some light handling wear and a small rip at the top, this is a unique new discovery being offered here for the first time ever! The image shows a large number of fans going crazy with "World Series Fever" and it presents beautifully with the date on the back being a file stamp only, this is absolutely a silver gelatin original from 1908!
