Lot Description  

1942 Warren Spahn portrait photograph as he was at Spring Training with the Boston Braves. Paper caption on the back from Acme notes that he was 16-7 with Evansville the previous season and it is dated March 13, 1942. One of the best (if not THE best) early images of Spahn that exists! Condition is fantastic and this image originally sold in our November 2014 auction for $1068!
