1928 Photograph of five members of the Boston Braves at Spring Training in Clearwater, Florida. One of the men (Al Lopez) would make a Major League Roster for the first time ever and go on to a stellar Hall of Fame career. This is the earliest image of Lopez we have ever offered and it is a beautiful example with tremendous clarity. Issued by Acme and with full paper caption on the back which clearly identifies Lopez and with the important file date of march 1928 on the back as well!
