1948 Photograph of Babe Ruth as he appeared in Yankee pinstripes for the last time ever and spent a moment in the locker room getting ready to appear before a sell-out crowd at Yankee Stadium. A few moments later the iconic photo of him leaning on a bat and waving to his fans would be snapped, winning the Pulitzer Prize for photographer Nat Fein! While it is impossible to accurately date this image, we believe it was done in the 1950's.
