Large and early c. 1950 studio photograph of young actress Marilyn Monroe from early in her career. A completely vintage original, this is one of the earliest and most elegant images of Monroe we have ever handled and aside from a few light chips on the top and bottom border from news-room usage, it displays exceptionally well! Deep and clear, the quality of this specimen is off the charts and it is easily one of the top handful of Monroe images we have ever had the pleasure of presenting to the public. More research is needed to pinpoint the photographer and exact date, which could make this an even more significant find!
