Large 1921 action photo lot of (9) from the Heavyweight Championship of the World bout between the champ Jack Dempsey and the challenger Georges Carpentier in New Jersey. A fantastic group of images that were taken by a local photographer and handwritten note on the border describing the action. Image quality is nice with the only flaws being pinholes at the corners and some handling wear. The images range from training camp to the fight itself, the knockout punch and the best image being that of Dempsey with his hands raised in victory and facing the crowd! One of the greatest lots of Dempsey images we have ever seen.
