1934 Photograph of Dizzy Dean, the ACE of the "probable" National League Champion St. Louis Cardinals as they wound down their season. The Cardinals would indeed win the pennant and the World Series as well and in the process they would become one of the most endearing teams of all time, known today simply as the Gas House Gang! The image is a classic pitching pose of Dean, issued by Acme and with a full paper caption, it presents well with some discoloration from the paper caption which can be cleaned or restored.
