1950 Photograph of two young stars of the Cuban League conversing in the Marianao dugout before hitting the big time in the big leagues. Minnie Minoso is easily recognizable as he was also one of the biggest stars in the league. The young pitcher to the right was less than a household name, even in his own home! Tommy Lasorda would eventually be the one enshrined in Cooperstown and this is one of the earliest and best images of him that we have seen! Dated on the back from 1950, this pre-dates his Topps rookie card by four years!
