Large 1949 photograph of young Hall of Famer Ed "Whitey" Ford in uniform with the Binghamton Triplets minor league squad taken two years before his rookie baseball card! Stamped on the back by a local photographer (DeClerco) and with a cool gold embossed name on the front from publication, this is the earliest image of Ford we have ever offered and it is a significant piece of baseball history. Double weight and crystal clear, the photo displays wonderfully but there is a few spots of wear from being in a scrapbook at one time (one on each of his dark undershirt sleeves). His greatest photograph ever offered!
