Original February 9, 1964 photograph of the British rock band "The Beatles" as they perform on the Ed Sullivan show and change the World forever! The photo was issued by the CBS television and with a full paper caption on the back (from two years later when the band was set to make their second appearance on the show) but clearly dated on the back as a file mark from mid 1966 so it is both within the 2 years for PSA and the time frame we give for a "vintage 1". A nearly perfect example, this is the most iconic image from their initial US performance and the only original we have ever seen! One of the most important Beatles photos we have ever seen in any form! This photograph is an important piece of American history and it is being offered here for the first time ever, fresh from the vault of a newspaper!
