Of the three DiMaggio brothers, Vince got the short end of the stick. He was a good player with a ton of potential, but he just never quite measured up to the stardom of his other brothers. What made him the least talented of the three however is what makes his images the toughest to find by far! A war-time star who toiled away for the Pittsburgh Pirates, images of Vince DiMaggio are tough to find and this is the best we have ever seen! A full 8x10 from photographer George Burke, this is a perfect condition example that captures him from head to toe in uniform and holding his bat. It is hard to imagine a better images of Vince on the planet!
