1940's Detailed photograph of Hall of Famer Mel Ott as he demonstrates that he could still knock the ball out of the ballpark. The New York Daily News stamp on the back was prominent during the years after WWII and through the early 1950's and while undated, this is a c. 1945 image. Condition and quality are both outstanding and this is a potentially unique example that we have never seen before!
