Awesome 1929 photograph of the newest slugging sensation in the National League, Hack Wilson, as he shows off his defensive abilities by simulating a diving catch. While this photo is clearly staged, the simplicity of it harkens back to photos from the Old Judge card set and looks fantastic. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, the image is the only one of its kind we have ever seen and its one of the best photos from the era we have offered of any player!
