With George Sisler spending his career in the American League and Rogers Hornsby bouncing around the National League, there were few opportunities for the two men to get together despite playing for St. Louis at the same time! This rare photograph from Spring Training puts the two sluggers (and arguably the best hitters in all of baseball) together for the first time that we know of. Clear and bold, the image has some wear but the presentation looks good while there is a dates newspaper article on the back.
