Large 1921 head to toe batting photograph of the greatest hitter in the American League during the early 1920's Harry Heilmann of the Detroit Tigers. Showing off his split-grip batting form, the image also captures a pretty cool tape job on his bat as well. While the image is not credited as such, the handwriting on the back looks like Louis Van Oeyens and the image is from the Baseball Magazine archive which had hundreds of Van Oeyen originals! Condition and quality are both outstanding!
