Imagine the stories these guys could tell you! Dated July 1920, this is a great image of Hall of Famer Tris Speaker, top player for the Cleveland Indians and Miller Huggins Yankees Manager. Led by the recent acquisition of Babe Ruth, the Yankees and Indians participated in one of the tightest pennant races in Baseball History in 1920. Along with the White Sox the three teams won 98, 96, and 95 games with the Indians squeaking it out on their way to the World Series Championship. To this day the 1920 Indians remain one of the most widely collected teams of the 20th century and this is a killer example of that season. There would be better days ahead for the Yankees! Condition is beautiful and there is a stamp on the back from NEA. This is one of the only images of these two guys together and this is almost certainly unique, being offered here for the first time ever!
