Joe Harris is one of Baseballs forgotten heroes. He was a star on the diamond, batting a career .317 over ten seasons in the big leagues with the Yankees, Indians, Red Sox, Senators, Pirates and Dodgers. He was also a genuine War Hero (WWI) who was badly disfigured during the Great War but rebounded to a fine career. The offered action photo was taken shortly after Harris returned to baseball and is large and detailed also providing a cool look at the "monster" in right field at the Cleveland ballpark! Issued by NEA and stamped on the back, this is a fine piece of early baseball photography.
