1898 Team photograph of one of the earliest Cuban baseball assemblages we have ever come across. Pictured here are 14 members of the "Club Caribbean" team including all the players identified on the back. It includes names like Indalbeio Ramirez, Benito Leal, Juan Canet, Hend-- De La Rosa, Antonio Balmesada, Manuel Bringuler, Abelardo Bru Canet, Arturo Drozco, Constantino Miranda, Francisco Meave Javer, Manuel Pombal, Rafael Lopez, Charles El Americano (which seems like a nickname for an American named Charles). Photo presents well and despite some wear this is one of the earliest Latin American team photos on the planet.
