Rare march 1964 photograph of the iconic rock band "The Beatles" as they welcome in a new drummer, Jimmy Nico, who was filling in for Ringo Starr who was hospitalized with laryngitis. One of the only original images that you will ever see showing a fifth Beatle, even if it was just as a fill-in! Stamped on the back and with a dated paper caption, this captures the band from the genesis of their world fame and it is amazing how young John, George and Paul look! Condition is nice overall with note to some pinholes at the corners and the clarity is quite nice. This is the first example of this photograph we have ever seen.
