Large 1930's photograph of early superstar from Notre Dame Gus Dorais as he was a coach for the Detroit Lions in the NFL. Dorais is one of the most underrates figures in the game as he was not only one of the first to ever throw a forward pass, but he teamed up with Knute Rockne at Notre Dame to put the tiny school on the map. After his college career he was one of the biggest stars in the early professional game and his impact should land him in Canton but because he played before the "NFL" he is a forgotten star today. A bold and clean image that is stamped on the back by the newspaper.
