1910's Portrait photograph of the famous Jim Thorpe in uniform with the Canton Bulldogs. This is the most famous image of Thorpe ever taken, reproduced a million times since it was original snapped about 100 years ago! While this is a re-strike from about the 1950's, it has an older look and feel to it and it could easily pass for an original to the untrained eye. Measuring about 3.75x3.75 and then attached to thicker board for publication, the image is strong and clean with some artistic paint added for publication on the upper right corner.
