Large posed action photograph of underrated star of the New York Yankees during the War-years George "Stuffy" Stirnweiss. He won a batting title, base stealing titles and was literally the best player on the Yankees after many of their stars left for WWII. A fine image taken by photographer Morris Gordon and stamped on the back. One of his best for sure!
