Beautiful 1935 horizontal photograph of the most exciting young player to come along in years, Hank Greenberg from the Detroit Tigers as he shows his incredible range at first base by stretching for a throw. An underrated figure in the game, he was one of the best players of all time but lost more to WWII than any other player. This is one of the best images of Greenberg we have ever seen and this is possibly a unique survivor in the world! Condition and quality are both outstanding!
