Large 1912 action photo of Wheeler "Doc" Johnston who despite looking a bit goofy, was actually a really good hitter in the major and minor leagues during the early part of the 20th century. Issued by Charles Conlon and with his handwriting on the back as well as a full stamp from early in his career, this is a high grade example and one of the only images of this player we have seen.
