1909 Real photo postcard of the Champion Harrisburg Giants that were declared on the back "Champion Colored Team of the State" which considering that Pennsylvania was the absolute hotbed of black baseball at the time, this was really saying something! Postmarked on the back to solidify the year of issue, the photo shows ten players and a large manager in full uniform on the front. The photo is exceptional and clear with one small crease on the lower left corner, this is the only example of this photograph we have ever seen in any form and considering how early it is, it is one of the more important black baseball postcards we have ever seen!
