Lot Description  

Large 1952 seductive studio photograph of the ultimate sex-symbol Marilyn Monroe. Taken as her career really started to take off, this was part of a sitting for her upcoming film "Monkey Business" and done by noted photographer Frank Powolny. Bold and beautiful, this is a completely vintage DOUBLE WEIGHT silver gelatin studio photo that dates to 1952 and presents extremely well with note to pinholes at the corners. One of her most famous studio sessions and a rare original made special by the fact it is a silver gelatin double weight and not mass produced from a studio!
