Large photograph of a spectacular golf match played essentially at the end of the 1925 season (Jan 1926) which pitted two stars from Georgia (Watts Gunn and Bobby Jones) against two stars from Europe (Armand Massey and Archie Compston) for world-wide supremacy! An extremely rare photo that is early for Jones, this is a dine image in great shape issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a detailed paper caption which is present but has come loose. One of the finest Jones images we have offered in a while!
