1932 photo featuring Honus Wagner, Judge Kennesaw Mountain Landis and National League President John Heydler attending the funeral of Pirates owner Barney Dreyfuss. Dreyfuss was a mainstay at the front office during the career of Wagner, eventually joining the ranks of the Hall of Fame in 2008. Wagner was an honorary pallbearer during the funeral and a lifelong friend of his employer. Nice image of the aging shortstop and of the Commissioner of Baseball mourning the loss of a true National League icon. Obvious area of damage to the lower right of the photo and some overall wear to the photo. Back has detailed description in pencil and vintage NEA file stamp.
