In 1936 there was a tournament held in Columbia for Latin American baseball supremacy. Teams from Dominican, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela and others entered the tournament with one of the top clubs being the "Paraiso" led by Francisco Quevedo, Alex Carrasquel and Luis Carty among others. While more research is needed, there is a slight chance that Pelayo Chacon is in this photo (wearing a different jersey). A beautiful clear image in stunning condition and with a date and handwritten notes on the back from the estate of Francisco Quevedo.
