Lot Description  

Original 1957 photograph of young up and coming pitching star Don Drysdale of the Brooklyn Dodgers captured in full uniform and issued by the team. The photo is a crisp and clean vintage example that might have been taken by noted photographer Barney Stein as he was the Brooklyn team photographer at the time. The autograph on the front appears to be secretarial but the image is the star as it is easily one of the top early examples we have ever seen!
