Rare and VERY early image of Buck Weaver the famous Chicago Black Sox member as a young Pacific Coast League Star in 1911 for San Francisco. Photo was taken by the Pacific Coast Bureau of NEA and dated August 25, 1911. Outstanding horizontal fielding pose of Weaver is among the best early Pacific Coast League images we have seen, regardless of the player. Easily the greatest photograph of Buck Weaver in the hobby! Condition is actually quite nice but for a few small pinholes and some very attractive artistic enhancements.
