1941 Franklin D. Roosevelt opening the Baseball Season in Washington, Classic Photo! Dated April 14, 1941 and the Senators opened against the New York Yankees! Photo is in great condition and the back carries a full paper caption and stamps from Acme and NEA! This was the last baseball season before WWII and of course one of the last from Roosevelt as well as it can clearly be seen in this photo that standing was a major accomplishment.
