1968 Extremely rare photograph of the Apple Boutique in London from the short window that the store was open and selling their iconic clothing. The boutique opened on December 7, 1967 and closed on July 31, 1968 leaving just a seven month window of operation to take a photograph. In twenty years of collecting vintage photography, this is the first image of the store in operation that we have ever seen. From the archives of London Features, this is a late 1970's example, likely issued on the 10th anniversary, and developed on period Kodak paper. The photo shows clothing and a poster on display in the window and a great look at the famous painted mural on the brick. A perfect 10/10!
